A full ticket from the 23rd Cotton Bowl Classic between Texas Christian University and the Air Force Academy. On Thursday, January 1, 1959, the Horned Frogs battled the Falcons at the Dallas Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. This error filled game ended in a 0-0 tie with thirteen fumbles and five missed field goals. Dave Phillips of the Air Force and Jack Spikes of TCU received recognition as outstanding players. Ben Martin & Abe Martin squared off against one another as coaches for the Air Force and TCU, respectively. 

Condition concerns of the 5 3/8" x 2 3/8" ticket include handling wear with slightly touched corners as well as even toning along reverse top border.
